Waris is a tall fast bowler who is regarded as ‘one to watch’ in years to come. He took 44 wickets at an average of 13.93 in all competitions last year which included a career best of 6/57.

On top of that Waris represented F&B 1XI on 4 occasions in the 2016 Season.
When asked about the signing skipper Mark Walling replied, “Waris has a lot of potential which if he works hard he can become a huge success at the club. I’m excited to see he how grows as a cricketer over the next few years.”

Wariz joins his younger brother Parwez who joined us at the end of 16 season.
This is our 3rd signing of the season in addition to Danny Gilbert and Michael Wellings. The club are in talks about a potential Oversees Amateur but nothing has been finalised at this point.
