Many of you will know that I spend quite a lot of time photographing Garstang Cricket Club's exploits during the summer season. It has been an amazing six years since I first got involved, when Daniel joined them, and this year was a bit special as we won the ECB Northern Premier League, which is quite an achievement.

I decided to put together a book to commemorate this. Its the first time that I have done this and given how many hours it took, it might be the last ! I decided to self-publish it via Blurb so that if anyone wanted to buy a copy it would be easy to expedite.

The first proof copy arrived yesterday and I am well chuffed with the result, a few sample pictures of it are attached. I have included over 300 images from the last 6 years all of which have been edited in 'Photoshop' and also tried to narrate the season(s) in my own words. Several of the images have been accepted in exhibitions around the world which has given me a lot of pleasure and reward.

The good news: - it will be available to purchase at cost direct from Blurb.

The bad news - hardcover photobooks are not cheap, it is 74 pages printed on Premium Lustre paper and approx A4 size

The better news - I often get sent decent discount codes from Blurb so ordering through me will probably save quite a bit of cash. Postage is expensive for single items but appears to be dramatically reduced for multiple copies. A black friday code is available for me until tomorrow night (SUNDAY 27th)

Lastly, I have loved doing this, both being at the games, taking and editing the images, and researching the book. It has brought back many happy memories. There is no intention to make any money out of this and if no-one buys it then its still a very worthwhile project for me. I know some people that I have spoken to are interested so let me know if you are.
